3 Reasons Your Comfort Zone Isnt Helping You Achieve True Happiness
We all have our comfort zones, and the truth is, itís important to us. But you canít stay shackled to your comfort zone forever. Hereís why you need to step out of your comfort zone if you want to achieve true happiness:
1. Your comfort zone is where your dreams go to die
You have dreams, and you want to achieve your dreams within your lifetime, right? By achieving your dream, youíll finally get to live the life youíve always wanted, and youíll find happiness. But you canít do all that if youíre stuck in your comfort zone.
When youíre not willing to step out of your comfort zone, your skills and your knowledge will stagnate. Youíre not going to improve in any way.
The thing is, your dreams will require you to do things youíve probably never done before. Youíve got to be ready for that, and youíve got to prepare yourself mentally and physically.
If you donít want to bury your dreams and your future happiness, then you better figure out how you can venture outside your comfort zone!
2. Your comfort zone is trapping you inside
Why would you allow yourself to get trapped in your comfort zone? Is it because youíre afraid of failing? Or maybe even success?
Whatever the reason, the fact of the matter is that you canít let yourself be stuck in your comfort zone. Unless, of course, you want to live a mediocre and unhappy life forever, then by all means, feel free to stay inside your comfort zone.
3. Your comfort zone is your greatest obstacle to happiness
You may think youíre happy where you are right now. But if youíre still yearning for your dreams, then you need to do something about it. For as long as youíve got that void in your life, then you canít ever be truly happy.
When youíre at peace with yourself, you can look at yourself in the mirror and say ďIím finally happyĒ with conviction.
If you can do this, then thatís really good for you! But if you canít, then you really must take action and reach for your dreams. Youíve got to be committed to it.
At times, youíll feel overwhelmed by the many obstacles that will stand in your way. Just donít give up and always look towards the prize Ė your dreams and your happiness.
